The new Tamworth cases come after no new infections were reported across the region on Sunday.
One of the new patients resides in Oxley Vale and the other is in South Tamworth.
NSW Health data indicates there have been 79 cases clocked in Tamworth in the past month, and 16 in Gunnedah.

There were 63 new cases of COVID-19 in the Hunter New England Health (HNEH) to 8pm on Sunday.
HNEH has not confirmed whether the Tamworth cases are linked or have been isolating during their infectious period.
Across the HNEH district, 26 of the cases announced on Monday were in isolation for their entire infectious period, 30 were infectious in the community and seven are still under investigation.
Almost 40 have been linked to a known source or cluster.
A woman aged in her 30s has sadly died in John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, she was from the Cessnock area, had not been vaccinated and lived with underlying health conditions, according to HNEH.
NSW reported 265 new COVID019 infections in the latest update and sadly confirmed five people died with the virus in the latest reporting period.
