Two men will face court on Tuesday, charged with the armed robbery of a Tamworth service station.

Police say at about 12.15am, Monday August 30, a Ford Territory stopped at a Marius Street service station before the driver and the passenger entered the store, one of the men allegedly armed with a knife.
Police will allege the pair approached the counter and threatened a male console operator, before leaving the store with cash.
They then drove from the scene onto Marius Street towards Brisbane Street, where they were sighted by Tamworth Highway Patrol officers who activated their sirens and tried to stop the vehicle.

Police say when the vehicle failed to stop a pursuit was initiated, but quickly terminated due to safety concerns.
The vehicle was later found in Webster Street, allegedly with the service station cash still inside.
Investigations suggested the Ford had been taken from a Sue Crescent address, without permission.
Then at about 11am yesterday, officers from Oxley Police District attended Sue Crescent, West Tamworth, where they arrested two men, aged 30 and 52.
The men were taken to Tamworth Police Station where the older man was charged with robbery in company, aggravated enter dwelling with intent - knowing people, and robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
The younger man was charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent - knowing people.
Both men have both been refused bail to appear at Tamworth Local Court today.
