The Cowboys face Narrabri on Saturday and Boggabri on Saturday week.
The Dungowan Recreation Reserve became a literal mudbath for the recent home game against Moree.

Competition leaders Narrabri arrive determined to continue their good run, as they eye their first minor premiership since 1990, when they won their last premiership.
Group 4 chairman Terry Psarakis said that Dungowan playing at Scully Park "should be good for all concerned".
"Narrabri and Boggabri will be good games for Dungowan to play at Scully, with Narrabri the current competition leaders," he said.
Dungowan are last on the table and need a win to escape the wooden spoon.
Saturday's other game is Moree and Gunnedah at Boughton Oval, with the Bulldogs welcoming back Matt Baker to the side.
On Sunday, North Tamworth host Werris Creek at Jack Woolaston Oval - with Livianai Tuicakau returning to the Bears backline and Zac Coleman filling in for fullback Bailey Taylor, who is in lockdown in Muswellbrook.
Also caught up in the lockdown (at the Central Coast) is Werris Creek centre Kieran Williams.
Dylan Smith and Beau Parry are also out of the Werris Creek side for Sunday's clash.
Sunday's other clash has Boggabri hosting Kootingal-Moonbi.
The home side will be missing Jay Urquhart (work) while Kaylan Murray returns to the bench for a tough game against a Kooty side missing captain Ben Williams (concussion), Luke Bonnell and Jack Anderson (a dislocated elbow).
"We have an enormous task in front of us," Roos coach Shane Rampling said. "We want to be competitive and get a bit of confidence to finish the season."
