THERE may have been plenty of rain recently, but there's no raining on this parade - Chaffey Dam has reached 100 per cent.
For the first time since October 2016, it has reached full capacity after more wet weather occurred mid-week.
It is an incredible sight for the likes of farmers, irrigators and Tamworth Regional council, which have all been given serious headaches in recent years during the drought.
The dam reached as low as 13 per cent in 2020, with the region put on heavy water restrictions, but now it's time to rejoice for those who were hit hardest during that time.
