It's a show of solidarity to her son Bentley, who lives each day differently from other children as a sufferer of Type 1 diabetes.
"He knows he is different in a way so it can still be quite upsetting for him ... some people don't know how to address the fact that a child has Type 1 diabetes," Ms Kemenyvary said.
Bentley was only six years old when he got the shock diagnosis.
His family and friends have been fundraising hard this month to raise money for research, and mark the two-year anniversary of the news that would change the way Bentley lives each day.

Bentley asked his mum to "go blue" and the pair have raised more than $1000 for the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Bentley's friend jumped on the trend and turned his locks blue to raise more money, and South Tamworth Public School raised an additional $500.
"I think for us it's so important to raise awareness ... before Bentley was diagnosed I didn't know there was a Type 1 and 2 diabetes," Ms Kemenyvary said.
"I was really confused and I felt really guilty that I had done something wrong, but Type 1 is an autoimmune disease."
Ms Kemenyvary said her eight-year-old son has to check his blood glucose levels six times a day - including at school - and has injections four times a day.
"It's just constant so there is no break from it," she said.
But the mother and son duo are feeling anything but blue, despite the colour of choice for their hair, clothes and accessories.
It's been a tough two years but a supportive school, good friends and the continuing hope for a cure are positives, Ms Kemenyvary said.
