The side's initial aim was to compete at the 2020 event in the 14s division, but when COVID-19 put a pin in that, the team's sights steered toward 2021.
They dropped just the one game and came within a whisker of finishing on top of the division four ladder.
Quirindi had the same amount of victories as the winners Casino but Quirindi was relegated to second on for and against.

Co-coach Robbie Gregg said it was an outstanding result.
"I'm over the moon," Gregg, who co-coached the side with his son Brody Blackett-Gregg, said.
"It's been a pretty long 16-18 months to get to where we got but the result showed the hard work and dedication the girls put in."
Gregg said the Quirindi outfit was "an undersized team" but made up for that in skill and their ability to play to the structures put in place.
"Our structures that we ran - not a lot of teams were able to match us in that regard," Gregg said.
Quirindi also took an opens side to the titles to compete in the championship division.
The team took on the best associations in NSW and recorded one win.
However, they went down in a number of close games including three by just one goal.
Quirindi Netball also had a big weekend off the court with Brooke Thompson being selected to sing the national anthem at the start of the titles while Robyn Ausling read the umpire's oath at the opening ceremony.
