The power went out at about 9pm on Thursday, and due to dangerous conditions on roads, crews weren't able to restore it until about 4pm on Sunday.
This meant the 82 residents impacted had to rug up, and some even escaped to neighbouring areas to escape the chill.

Essential Energy operations manager for the Northern Tablelands, Mark Summers, said helicopter crews were used to patrol the overhead electricity network in Hanging Rock due to the heavy snowfall.
"The aerial patrol enabled crews to identify a number of faults such as broken powerlines," he said.
"Low temperatures over the weekend with the addition of rain created slippery, unsafe conditions for Essential Energy crews. All-terrain vehicles were deployed to the area to assist.
"Crews continued to work throughout challenging alpine conditions to make necessary repairs."
Mr Summers said there were "occasions when the quality and reliability of the electricity supply is subject to a variety of factors that are beyond our control, such as weather".
"Essential Energy apologises for the inconvenience caused by the power outage over the weekend, however, Essential Energy is unable to consider compensation payments in circumstances such as this which are beyond our control," he said.
Residents are reminded to report fallen powerlines, network damage, fires or trees contacting powerlines to Essential Energy on 13 20 80 or call Triple-0 if the situation is life threatening.
