The Frogs will compete in Division 1 against the best teams from around the state.
"It will be very very interesting to see how we go," Doolan said.
"We'll have to play well as a team."

The good thing is they have got good numbers. They haven't though had a lot of time together, only having the one training session.
That said, the majority of the squad is playing in the local competition.
Only Abigail Doolan, Alice Arnott and Amber Whitney are plying their trade outside of Tamworth. Whitney is down at uni in Newcastle while Doolan and Arnott are based in Sydney.
The latter has just returned from a training camp in Darwin with the Hockeyroos and will with fellow 2021 National Women's Development Squad member Doolan be a key player for the Frogs.
Kimmy McLean is also back on deck after missing the championships two years ago. She will skipper the side and also have a big role to play leading what is a relatively green defensive unit.
"Right from the goalkeeper forward they're pretty well on debut," Doolan said.
In saying that they have been playing well locally.
"I've been helping out Services," he said.
"I've been pretty happy with Prue Davies."
"I'm hoping she can carry that on."
She is one of several of the side for whom the weekend will be either their first opens championship or Division 1 debuts.
That is balanced by the experience of the likes of McLean, Doolan, Arnott and Katrina Rekunow.
[Greg] Doolan said the goal is the semi's but acknowledges they will have to play very well to finish in the top two of their pool.
Their first game is against Central Coast (1) at 10.30am on Saturday.
