Kootingal rebounded well from its fifth round loss to Dungowan Cowgirls by overpowering Boggabri 66-nil in their Group 4 ladies league tag clash at Kootingal Oval on Saturday.

The 11 try success took the tricolours to eight competition points and with a significantly improved for and against.
They remain in fourth spot on the ladder behind North Tamworth, Gunnedah and Dungowan.
"The girls were really good today," Kootingal captain-coach Abby Schmiedel said after the big win.
"I thought we regrouped really well after last week's loss. We used the full width of the field today."

She thought Sarah Gill and Tayla King ran the ball strongly while Monique Cook and Steph Fulwood were good at transferring the ball "across the field".
"Keeping them to nil was good also," she said while delighted with her three points in the B&F Award.
"That was nice," she added after crossing for four tries.
"Nice to get some points in the B&F but the whole side was good."
Boggabri coach Jason Kemp thought it a "tough day".
"We've had a good month but coming to Kootingal is always tough," he said.
"The biggest thing today was the attitude. When you play good sides like these you have to be switched on and we didn't do that from the outset."
North Tamworth reclaimed top spot (on for and against) after their 62-nil win over Manilla out at the Manilla Showground where Kim Resch crossed for four tries and Steph Halpin three.
Gunnedah's Charlotte Eather also scored four tries for her side in their 32-6 win over Moree at Kitchener Park on Sunday.
Dungowan Cowgirls kept pace with Norths and Gunnedah when they also had a good win over Moree, finishing 32-6 victors with Chloe Shanley scoring twice and Georgia Horniman and Emma Carrigan in good form.
Werris Creek kept their semi final chances afloat with a tough 16-8 win over Barraba at David Taylor Park on Sunday.
Jess Baker scored twice and Jorja Tory also starred for the home side.
