The Group 4 ladies league tag competition remains a four-team log-jam at the top after Kootingal beat Narrabri 34-6 at Tamworth Rugby Park on Sunday.

The Roosters scored seven tries to one, with Tayla King crossing for a pair of four-pointers, to join Dungowan, Gunnedah and North Tamworth on six points after they won their respective clashes on Saturday.
Assistant coach Jeff Faint thought the Roosters could have played better in a post match interview with G4 Media.
"It's a win," he said.
"A stop start game where we made a lot of mistakes and Narrabri did play very well."

He thought a lot of the Roosters were "flat" after a big weekend at the State Oztag Championships in Coffs Harbour.
"We didn't train at all during the week," he said of a poor preparation.
He thought Sarah Gill, who received the three points in the G4 B&F was good along with Rebekah Jenkins.
"Beck does a lot of hard work that goes unnoticed," he said.
"Tayla King found a lot of space and Bromley Nankivell was good too."
Narrabri Bluebirds coach Ashley Hynch was impressed by his side's effort and die-hard attitude.
"The score didn't reflect the game," Hynch said.
"I was very happy with that effort. They kept turning up in defence, it was a good effort from the girls.
"Kootingal are a good side, their line speed is awesome but we can also take a lot of positives out of the game.
"We're no where near where we want to be."
He rated it a "good all round team performance" without naming any individual stars.
"Everyone had a dig, stuck in for each other. We could have chucked it in but didn't," Hynch said.
In the other Sunday game Boggabri beat Manilla 24-4 at Manilla Showground.
The win moved Boggabri up to fifth, just a point behind the quartet of leading sides.
The Bears reeled off a 70-nil win over Barraba at Jack Woolaston with three players - Kim Resch, Steph Halpin and Dhalara Knox - crossing for try hatricks.
"The most pleasing thing for us was keeping them scoreless," North coach James Cooper said after the 70-blot result.
"We've still got plenty to work on though."
Dungowan sit top of the comp with their +110 differential following their 34-12 win over Moree Boars at Moree.
Georgia Holcombe scored twice while Ellie New, Abby Bowden, Jamie Blackler, Emma Carrigan and Sammy Judd also crossed.
Tileah McGrady and Ashlyn Tape scored tries for the Boars.
Gunnedah meanwhile beat Werris Creek 34-nil at Kitchener Park on Saturday.
Charlotte Eather crossed for three tries in that success and also polled the three points in the G4 best and fairest.
