They were paraded around in different categories and it would have been difficult for the judges to pick winners with the amount of detail that had been put into making each contestant look their best.
From tiny puppies to dogs so large they could probably be ridden, there was plenty of variety on show.

In some cases the canines had come to Kootingal from long distances, and some of them had even been bred overseas in places such as Japan.
For the owners there was plenty of pride on the line, and for the dogs there were ribbons - and more importantly treats - on offer.
