A 30-YEAR-OLD woman is fighting for her life after she fell from a height of up to three metres and hit concrete on Friday morning.

The woman suffered serious head injuries and has been placed on life support after she fell from a ladder at a property at Gurley, south of Moree.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was urgently tasked to the property just before 11:30am after reports a 30-year-old woman had fallen from a ladder.

The woman was reportedly about two or three metres off the ground when she fell from the ladder and hit concrete.
Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter's critical care team treated the woman at the scene for serious head injuries.
The woman was put on life support and flown directly to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for further specialist treatment.
It is understood she was in a serious but stable condition.
