Ian Moss is bringing his 30th Anniversary Tour - Solo and Acoustic to the Capitol Theatre on Saturday 24 April at 8pm.
Matchbook hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 1989 and remained in the Top 10 for 14 weeks, selling over 200,000 copies and went on to see "Mossy" take away Album of the Year, Best Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist - Album, Breakthrough Artist - Single and Song of the Year (shared with Don Walker) for Tucker's Daughter, as well as being nominated for Single of the Year.
Six of the album's 10 songs, including Tucker's Daughter, were written by Cold Chisel bandmate Don Walker; two were co-written by Moss and Walker; and one co-written by Moss, Walker and Cold Chisel drummer, Steve Prestwich.
Ian said: "Touring into the heartland that is regional Australia has always been something that I have looked forward to for over 40 years, especially meeting the fans and hearing their stories. The audiences have always been supportive, and I'm looking forward to getting back out there and sharing this special Matchbook 30th anniversary with them."
The Midnight Gang
Based on the bestselling novel by David Walliams this children's live stage production is a celebration of friendship, love and the power of the imagination.
Friday 26 March at 6pm or Saturday 27 March at 10.30am in the Capitol Theatre, this is a show for the kids with a fun storyline.
