The H&NWRA Country Championship Qualifier Day has attracted a whopping 239 nominations for the eight-race card on Sunday at the Tamworth Jockey Club.

Tamworth Jockey Club administrator David Jewell had one word to describe the amount of nominations.
"Huge," Jewell said.
"There's depth in all the races, too.
"These showcase meetings Racing NSW has developed with $30,000 minimum prizemoney sees clubs rewarded by the quality we're seeing.
"Trainers from Wyong like Kim Waugh, Allan Denham and Kristen Buchanan are all coming up and it sets up for a big day."
Of the 239 nominations, 39 have come for the big one - the H&NWRA Country Championships Qualifier.
Tamworth trainer Cody Morgan was put the longest list of horses forward with six.
Ronan's Rock holds the highest benchmark rating, 75, of his six hopes.

Meanwhile, brother Luke Morgan has put two horses forward with Depth That Varies and General Scarlet.
Sitting at the top of the benchmark ratings for the race is Tavion Prince who was a rating of 84 and races out of the Craig Martin stables.
Sue Grills (Anubis) and Troy O'Neile (Cassy's Sister) also have one runner nominated each.
Jewell said it was great to see so many local trainers put forward nominations for the race.
"Everyone wants to run in it," he said.
"We were expecting nominations in the 30s, at least, but 39 is a lot of horses. And there's quality and depth in the field as well."
