The nationals will be held at Lake Kawana on the Sunshine Coast on March 13 and 14. They were originally scheduled to be staged at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith on the weekend just gone but were pushed back in response to COVID-19 related border closures.
Monet had already qualified for the nationals. She did that back in December at the "John Saliba'' Open Water Championships.
Improving two minutes on her time from then, she finished fourth in the 16-year girl's race on the weekend.
