"I have had a really good three months with new clients, more horses and now the kids [Elly and Jack] are onboard and more involved."
"I will have 13 horses ready for nomination at the next harness meeting and to win those four premierships I feel is like another feather in my cap."
Chapple picked up three winning drives on Wednesday night. Two, Rocknroll Max and Marni White, were for Stubbo trainer Ty Robson while the other was from Chapple's own stable with She's Heavenly.
"I went into the meeting thinking my best hope was behind Rocknroll Max," Chapple said.
"And I didn't think I could get one from my stables but She's Heavenly popped up. Her race form has been more consistent of late."
Chapple commenced his good night on the paceway when $1.45 race favourite Rocknroll Max had an eight-metre win in the RN3 Historic Fire Asset Restoration Group Pace over Casino Comedy (Jemma Coney) while Darby Brights (Lola Weidemann) was 14 metres away in third.
"He is a special horse that one - he has ultra-speed and he can stay a bit," Chapple said of the A Rockroll Dance four-year-old gelding.
"Ty and Kayla Robson race him with their cousin Mark Robson and they are going to have some fun with the horse for sure."
Rocknroll Max commenced a sprint around the field 600 metres from home after racing at the tail to pick up the gelding's second win from three starts for the stable since coming from New Zealand.
Stablemate Marni White raced in similar fashion after being positioned four back on the outside running line and commenced a three-wide run in the back straight.
Marni White came away for a three-metre win over Alot Of Cost (Jemma Coney) and Water Master (Tom Ison) two metres away third in the Newberry Financial Services Pace.
"She is only young"but she is going to go a long way - she has got a lot of bottom in her"," Chapple said of the three-year-old Rock N Roll Heaven filly.
"Our plan at the start of the race didn't come off and we got shuffled back and she sprinted quick when we went."
Chapple also raised the profile of the NSW Standardbred Re-Homing Company of which he is the Ambassador for the northern region in wearing the distinctive yellow silks with the rehoming company logo.
"I didn't have much joy when I first started driving in the colours with no wins but they have pulled through good now with three wins in them on Wednesday night. It was good to see them get just one win but three was pretty exciting," he said.
With an eight race card Tamworth locals certainly had plenty of Christmas Cheer winning seven of the races on the program with Tamworth trainer Greg Coney taking out the Christmas Gift Box Pace with $3.30 favourite Watchful Lady driven by daughter Jemma Coney.
The Ernie Mabbott trained Angelina Julie was the surprise package in the PKF Accountants Tamworth Pace paying $14 for the win while reinsman Brad Elder picked up The Pub Group Drive of the Night.
The Tony Missen trained I'm So Better won with a tidy mile rate of 1.58.6 with Madi Young accepting the drive while Queensland visitor Lola Weidemann won with the Jarred Hetherington trained Stilton.
Tamworth will host a twilight meeting on Sunday, January 3.
