Barnes Street between Crown and Ebsworth Street and Ebsworth Street between Denne Street and Crown Street will be shut to traffic for a full trial installation of the Demountable Flood Barrier System for the Taminda Levee. Detours will be clearly signposted during this temporary closure.

Bridge Street - Tuesday 1 December, from 7.30pm

Flood barriers will be installed across the main Peel River Bridge in Bridge Street. Bridge Street, between Carter Street and Kable Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 7.30pm and 1am (Weather Permitting).

Access to Businesses along Bridge Street immediately affected by the closure will be maintained at all times. A sign posted detour will be in place for this period.
