The annual National Indigenous Touch Football Championships will be held in Dubbo this weekend.
Now into it's fourth year, the COVID pandemic has thrown up some obstacles for organisers with restrictions limiting how many people can attend, and the number of teams that can participate.
The border closures with Queensland and Victoria have also prevented teams from those states competing.

But it should still be a great weekend, and one the Tamworth-based team is looking forward to.
"I'm pretty excited," Euraba captain Jermain Walford said.
The opens division will be a mixed format only and Walford has high hopes.
They have been drawn in Pool A with the top three sides from the two pools progressing through to the finals.
In deference to previous years the uncertainty around the tournament due to the pandemic has meant they haven't had as much time to prepare. Walford said they haven't really trained as a team.
That said, the strong family ties that run through the side means they do know each other's games pretty well.
Johnny Knox, who was part of the original 1988 side, will once again lace up the boots, and be an inspiring influence.
A "40-year old running around like a 20-year old", as Walford put it, he is the most "intelligent and smartest" touch footballer he's seen and his presence just inspires not only the young players in the side but the whole team.
The patriarch of the side he will be joined in Euraba colours by several of his children.
The nucleus of the side played in the Gunnedah Gala Day last month. Going down to the Gunnedah State Cup side in the final, Walford said it was a good hit-out for this weekend.
The games will be played at the Dubbo Touch Association fields with Apex Oval out of action due to the Tribal League on the Saturday and unforeseen conditions that limit the use of Apex Oval's extraneous fields.
