The 22-year-old is the race sponsor - Wintech Equine Products Pace - and has accepted a drive behind the Ernie Mabbott-trained Angelina Julie from the three barrier.
"The three barrier is a bit awkward but last start she came from last and finished second - she was taking ground off them," Elder said.

"I have driven the mare twice before for a second and a third so it would be nice to get the winner," the Maitland reinsman added who also enlightened as to what Wintech Equine Products was all about.
"I started working at Spectrum in Beresfield - they supply vitamins and supplements for all animals - and my boss said to me that I have a lot of contacts and I thought I could make my own business, which I have done.
"I have six big stables and a lot of smaller ones virtually all over Australia."
The budding entrepreneur will still remain grounded and likes to achieve at least 10 drives a week at meetings.
"I have four drives at Tamworth, six at Newcastle on Friday night and then two at Menangle on Saturday night," Elder said.
Once Brad Elder completes his first race engagement at the Tamworth meeting, he will then link up with his second drive for the meeting behind another from the Mabbott stables - Got The Scoop - in the Johns Auto Service Pace from the one barrier.
"It will be the first time that I have driven the horse and from the one barrier I would really like to hold the lead and keep rolling along over the 1609 metres as the horse is down in grade," he said.
It will then be a move over to the Dean Chapple stables in the Peter Jackson Bookmaker Pace where Elder has control of Louthpark Xsresso from the three barrier.
"This will be a hard race to assess but if the one and two [Groovy Shannon for Anthony Varga and A Lot Of Cost for Jake Hughes] lock horns I will go back and take the sit," Elder said of his race plan.
The final drive for Elder at Tamworth will be for the family stables with My Carmen in the Hygain Release Pace (1980m).
"She is my favourite horse in the stables," Elder said.
"If the one holds [Kiss Cam for Jemma Coney] I should be able to get across and I will run the race along like I did two weeks ago when she won at Tamworth."
My Carmen had a 9.6 metre win in taking out the Believe In Heaven-Local Horse Of The Year Pace back on October 22.
The working week for Elder will continue at Newcastle on Friday night with drives behind Blazing Shannon, Blue Ivy, Ultimate Ad for his trainer father Darren and an outside drive behind Geraldton Wax for Adam Ruggari.
The Menangle drives include Shannonstheman, looking for three wins on the trot trained by Darren Elder and Ashark trained by his sister Melanie.
