The road was shut to all traffic on Monday morning, after heavy rain at the end of last week. It has not reopened since.

TRC confirmed Wallamore Road had reopened to traffic on Thursday morning, after it was closed due to flooding last night.
Other sections of local streets had water over them, or lapping at them, after the deluge.
The section of road near the roundabout at the intersection of Goonoo Goonoo Road and Vera Street was affected by water, and there was floodwater covering the intersection of Bylong Road and Werris Creek Road.
TRC confirmed both of those intersections remained open throughout the storm event and the water has now drained from the roads.
Locals have been urged to drive to the conditions, and never drive through floodwater or along a closed road.
