The road closure is part of necessary batter maintenance, and will start on Monday, October 12.
Traffic controllers will be put in place to manage the flow of traffic on Monday.
Portable traffic signals will then be put in place from Tuesday to manage the flow for the duration of the roadworks.
Access to properties will not be affected and the road will remain open to all normal traffic.
