The 60 year old man suffered serious injuries after his leg was impaled by a piece of farming equipment on a property five kilometres outside of Moree.
At about 10.30am on Sunday, the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was sent to meet up with ASNSW Paramedics at Moree Airport.
He was initially treated at Moree Hospital.
The Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team then assisted in stabilising him there.
He has since been airlifted to Lismore Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
