On the eve of round one, the university club announced they couldn't get the numbers to fill a squad with students not returning due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"But unfortunately we didn't have sufficient numbers returning to college due to COVID and have been forced to withdraw from the women's rugby.
"We still had girls that did return but not sufficient to field a squad for the season."
Before the colleges shut down, Robb had a squad of around 35 players.
The handful who did return still have the opportunity to play for other clubs.
"They've been given that option obviously," Bower said.
"I can't really confirm who is going where and what not.
"But I would say they are very passionate and will be back in 2021 with a full squad under normal conditions."
Teams scheduled to play against Robb's women's sevens side will now have a bye.
