A thick fog blanketed the city this morning with temperatures hovering around eight degrees between 5am and 6am.
It's not the end of it, though, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting a similar foggy start to Friday morning.

And after the fog, comes rain for the weekend.
There's a 50 per cent chance of any rain, most likely to come in the evening, on Saturday and we could see up to eight millimetres, according to BoM.
But Sunday is the best chance for Tamworth to get some of the wet stuff.
There's a 90 per cent chance the country music capital will see some rain with a possibility we could see a bucketload.
There's a 50 per cent chance of 25mm and a 25 per cent chance of 40mm coming to Tamworth on Sunday.
There's been just 1mm of rain so far this month but if Sunday's rain comes, Tamworth would go close to hitting the June average of 49.9mm of rain.
Tamworth won't be the only place to get rain with widespread showers predicted on Saturday and Sunday across the East coast.
