A 3am call out to the aid of a 2 year-old baby boy has capped off a busy long weekend for the Westpac helicopter.

The pre-dawn emergency call out was the fourth of the weekend for the charity service.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service was on Monday morning called to the aid of a baby boy suffering a medical condition, the service said.
The 2-year-old boy was flown to the Tamworth Hospital where the helicopter medical team stabilised him for transport to Newcastle.
He has since been taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

Just hours earlier the helicopter was called to assist a 13-year-old who was injured in a motorbike accident.
The young man suffered leg fractures after falling from a motor-cross bike on a property north-west of Bingara.
He was also flown to the Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition, the helicopter service said.
On Sunday morning the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called out to evacuate a 79-year-old man with a medical condition. He was taken from the Armidale Hospital to Tamworth Hospital.
The service said the man was in a stable condition.
On Saturday the Helicopter helped transport a 46-year-old man from Inverell hospital to Tamworth hospital.
The man required specialist treatment for a medical condition.
