Week one of the Bulky Household Waste Collection starts on June 15, for Tamworth, Moonbi, Kootingal and Attunga.
Week two starts on June 22, servicing Manilla, Barraba and Nundle.
Tamworth Regional Council's Waste Projects Officer, Sarah Shephard said: "It's an opportunity residents should make the most of. I'm sure there are many residents who have had a clean out during the COVID-19 lockdown and are looking for ways to dispose of their unwanted items."

There is a limit of two cubic metres per property, an amount that would fill a standard ute tray or small trailer.
Items mustn't weigh more then 30 kilograms and must be under two metres in length.
"It's important that residents follow the size limit - both the overall limit and the weight and length of items. Any waste that exceeds these limits will be labelled and left behind for residents to dispose of," Ms Shephard said.
"Residents are able to dispose of items such as general small household items, bedding, electrical appliances, broken furniture and e-waste including TVs, computers and printers."
Unsuitable items include tyres, fridges and gas bottles and won't be picked up as part of the collection. These items are to be removed from the kerbside and disposed of responsibly by the owner.
A full list of suitable and unsuitable items can be found on council's website at www.tamworth.nsw.gov.au/bulkywaste.
Residents can report missed collections to the waste hotline on 1300 530 535.
