As part of the council's causeway and culvert replacement program, work is continuing with the Cana Road causeway construction project.
Work is about to commence on the reconstruction and paving of the footpath, plus kerb, gutter and parking lane improvements on Single Street in Werris Creek, between Coronation Avenue and Poole Street.

This project comes from the council's successful application for $275,844 through the NSW Government's Building Stronger Communities Program, which was supported by Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson.
The council's gravel re-sheet program continues with work about to start on Bartons Lane and Wandobah Road. Additionally, road grader maintenance is ongoing and roadside slashing continues.
