When Tony O'Neill heard of pensioners being unable to purchase toilet paper due to the panic buying of the product, he decided to do something.
And when people heard about it, the love poured in.
The Northern Daily Leader readers called Mr O'Neill's gesture wonderful, awesome and generous - amongst other things.
One reader wrote: "Great to see there are people out there that care and are not selfish like some. Great work."

The people that came in to get some rolls were also full of praise.
"A lady was in earlier with her husband and was saying 'god bless you' and all this sort of stuff," Mr O'Neill said.
"They've been thankful and happy to be able to get anything.
"And I guess when you're on a pension, to be able to get anything for free means they're able to stretch their money a little further."
At 10am this morning, there was only a box and a half left of the toilet paper.
Mr O'Neill expected it to be gone in a couple hours.
