A WOMAN who allegedly led police on a chase through the upper Hunter on Sunday night without a licence will face court on Monday.

Officers were patrolling the New England Highway at Blandford about 6pm when they attempted to stop a Great Wall X240 utility.
Police began pursuing when the vehicle failed to stop, ultimately calling off the chase a short time later for safety reasons.
The vehicle was found a short time later in a Murrurundi car park on Little Street, and a 27-year-old woman was arrested nearby.
It is alleged she refused to undergo a roadside breath test and was taken to Muswellbrook police station.
The woman was charged with 29 offences including four counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, five counts of using an uninsured vehicle, two counts of using a misleading numer plate, police pursuit and driving recklessly or furiously in a speed or manner dangerous.
"Police will allege in court that the woman, who is an unlicensed driver, had altered her number plates by attaching mailbox stickers, purchased from a hardware store," police said in a statement.
The Broken Hill woman was refused bail and due to face court at Muswellbrook Local Court on Monday.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
