Bendemeer Rodeo and Campdraft Committee president Jackson Walden said they couldn't have been happier with how Saturday's event went.
"It was the biggest one we've had," he said.
The estimates were between 800 and 1000 people through the gates, which was more than Walden said they were anticipating.
They witnessed plenty of great action in the arena, and out of it as well.
One of the highlights was a lovely gesture from Willow Tree cowboy Heath Nichols.
After spotting Barolin Garaty, whom he had competed in a charity roping event in aid of previously, Nichols went over and gave him his buckle for winning the rope and tie event.

This year they added a retail area, which Walden said went well.
