Ambulance NSW were called to the accident scene near Chaffey Dam abut lunchtime after reports one car had lost control, left the road and crashed.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was also tasked to the scene by Ambulance NSW with fears for the condition of the injured woman inside.
A woman, aged about 60, was treated at the scene by paramedics as well as the chopper's medical team, which landed nearby.

The woman was stabilised and then taken by road ambulance to Tamworth hospital.
She was reported to be in a stable condition. The rescue helicopter then returned to base at the Tamworth airport.
On Sunday night, the rescue service's Lismore-based helicopter was deployed to the Northern Tablelands, this time at Tabulam, near Tenterfield.
A spokesperson said the crew were called to treat a young girl who was kicked by a horse.
A doctor and paramedic on board the chopper treated the young patient who was eventually taken by road ambulance to Lismore hospital.
