The home side lived up to their moniker, starting on fire.
Angus Fry put them ahead in the third minute, and was successful with his conversion to give the Fire a 2-nil lead.
Two minutes later, Farmilo found the back of the net for the second time in the tournament having scored in his debut.
After hitting the post with his conversion on that occasion, he made no mistake this time to make it 4-nil after only six minutes.
The Fire carried that lead through to quarter-time but were unable to make an impact on the scoreboard again as the Chill chipped away at their lead, a fourth quarter double to Jake Staines sealing the win for them.

The loss leaves the Fire at the bottom of the table with one round to play.
At the other end of the spectrum the NSW Pride are unbeaten and sit on top of the ladder after thrashing the Perth Thundersticks 8-1 to lock in a home semi-final. The women's side featuring Kate Jenner, who led them on Saturday, and Alice Arnott didn't fare as well going down 2-nil.
The Pride conceded both goals in the first half and were never able to peg the Thundersticks back.
The final round will see a trip to Brisbane for the Pride, which for the men will be a top of the table clash, while the Fire take on Melbourne.
