At about 6.30am on Tuesday morning, emergency crews were called to attend the scene about 35km from Coonabarabran.
Paramedics treated a 21-year-old male's hand that went through the glass windscreen in the truck.

Fellow passengers, a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old male, had no pain and were conscious and breathing.
They were all taken to Coonabarabran in a stable condition.
Coonabarabran Fire and Rescue cleaned up a minor fuel spill from the truck with absorbent material.
Rural Fire Service and police were also in attendance.
