Each share a piece of their story in Jetty Road's video clip for their moving track Bumps and Bruises.
It's from the first album from the country band in four years, while Julian Sammut and twins Paula and Lee Bowman have been thrown into the depths of parenthood.
"After our last album Lee and Jules fell pregnant and had twins, and then I fell pregnant," Paula Bowman said.
"You're so in the depths of motherhood and babies, and babies relying on you that you don't feel as if you're ever going to get back on the road because you're so busy.
"We still sound like us but it's invigorated, it's got a pop to it which has come from our producer Michael Carpenter."
The new album, Because We Can, features two songs co-written with country royalty Brooke McClymont and Nashville-based Aussie Chris Pelcer.
Inspired by motherhood, Bumps and Bruises is an ode to the changes that happen to people as they experience life.
With social media upping the standards for everyone to be perfect, halt ageing and be constantly positive, showing vulnerability has become tough, Bowman said.
"We wrote a sound about people trying to erase the lines on their faces and how it's making them all look the same," she said.
Don't erase that, because that's a map of you and there's beauty in imperfection.

"We wanted to write a song about self-acceptance, those lines on your face, the scars you have and the bumps in the road throughout your life that make you unique.
"Don't erase that, because that's a map of you and there's beauty in imperfection."
The band met Brooke McClymont at the 2019 Golden Guitar Awards during Tamworth Country Music Festival. Lee and Paula Bowman were there to present an award, but their career has humble roots at the festival.
In 2005 the band began busking on Peel Street.

"Those memories of busking on Peel Street are the essence of Tamworth for us," Paula Bowman said.
"The crowds, the performing, the buzz you get and direct feedback.
"We just have really fond memories of busking and we are definitely coming back to Tamworth."
Jetty Road is headed to Tamworth's festival with their show at the Capitol Theatre on January 23 at 2:30pm.
