A dominant first half ensured there would be no repeat of three weeks ago, when Kiwis stunned them 1-nil, with the competition leaders slotting three unanswered goals.
Fresh from a six goal haul against South United the previous week, Isaac Farmilo netted a double, Toby Climpson adding the extras.
Workies coach Andrew Farmilo was happy with the result but thought it was a pretty scrappy game.
"I don''t think either team would be too happy with how they played," he said.
"There was not much flow throughout the game, especially in that second half."
He couldn't quite put his finger on what happened in the second half.
"I just don't think the game flowed like it did in the first half," he said.
"The field just wasn't open, it was just very condensed."

The pleasing part was the defence.
"Defensively we were really good," Farmilo said.
"They didn't create too many chances."
"I don't think we conceded a penalty corner."
They were consistently able to shut the play down before Kiwis could get into their circle.
He was overall happy with the effort and thought Isaac and Ehren Hazell were their best.
Earlier Nick O'Connor scored twice as South United rediscovered their goalscoring form and returned to the winner's circle with a 7-3 victory over Tudor Wests.
Souths shared the scoring around with captain-coach Sam Clifton, Luke Maher, Addison Coutman, Angus Doyle and Brock Mackay also finding the back of the net.
