An 18-year-old male was arrested in Oak Place, Inverell yesterday after allegedly acting aggressive, taking off his shirt and challenging police officers to a fight.

Inverell officers responded to reports of a group of males threatening people at around 11.50am on Monday in Byron Street.
The group had left before officers arrived. However following investigations officers attended an Oak Place address where they located the male, believed to have been involved in the earlier incident.

The male was arrested and conveyed to Inverell Police Station where he was charged with assault police, malicious damage, affray, enter vehicle without consent and Breach AVO.
He was refused bail to appear at Inverell Local Court today.
Later that day, police attended a property in Graman Road Graman, regarding a dispute between two neighbours.
Police spoke with a 24-year-old female resident of the property.
Police will allege that the female used a tomahawk to strike her neighbour's motor vehicle numerous times, causing the windscreen to smash.
The female was arrested and conveyed to Inverell Police Station.
She was charged with Malicious Damage and granted conditional bail to appear at Inverell Local Court on September 12.
