The on-demand scheme begun in January this year, but Mr McAlister said "no one is using it".

Presently, people are able to book a bus from Moore Creek into Tamworth for on-demand and workers' services.
"It's been identified as a key area to help people move around and come into the city to do business, work, recreation or sport and leisure," Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said at the time.
But Mr McAlister believed it wasn't a good area for the project.
"At the moment, we don't have much of role in advocating for public transport and I think we should," he said.
"For example, Moore Creek is just a plainly silly place to run an in demand trial.
"When there are much more demanding places like South Tamworth or Coledale."
Mr McAlister said public transport would be a factor in the council's "blueprint 100" plan for a population of 100,000 people.
The bus trial began in January with a 57 seater workers' service and the 18 seater service during the day with potential to grow depending on use.
The on-demand service is $4.40 for standard fares and $2.20 for concessions.
