The service allows locals to book a mini bus to pick them up from home, or a nearby location, and take them to a transport hub or point of interest.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said as with most public transport trials, the term “use it or lose it” applies.
“So I’m urging people in the area to make the most of this trial and we can hopefully make it a permanent service,” Mr Anderson said.
“This is public transport at a time that suits you, arriving where and when people need them, so they can manage their time without being over-reliant on their car.”
A Saturday service to the CBD, Riverside Sporting Fields and the Longyard precinct is available by pre-booking, while a workers service is also available.
Residents planning to use the service can call 6760 7190 to make a booking or to get more information.
