The Sip, Shop, Support 4 Homeless event was organised by Anneka Frayne and Joanna Birtles, with the proceeds this year going to Flourish, a local organisation which helps the homeless.
Designer clothing was offered up at minimal cost, and a cash bar also contributed to the cause.
One of the more unusual aspects of the day involved a lamb tasting event.

The UNE Meat Science Research department needed 60 people to try seven different pieces of grilled lamb, and score them for a research project.
In return the department donated $1000 to the charity.
