Up against 15 of the best teams in the state, City thrived during the three-day long tournament hosted by South Tamworth, West Tamworth and Kootingal Bowling Clubs.
City saved their best performance for last as they battled it out with Yamba in a marathon grand final, with the final match going City's way 66-57.

Armidale City's team manager Rosie Fuller commended Yamba for their "great performance".
"Yamba played some great bowls throughout the tournament and certainly deserved to be in the final," Fuller said.
"As for our guys, they were awesome in the final and it feels really good to have won a state title."
Fuller said the work of the event's organisers could not be overstated.
"We have to give the organisers a lot of credit, this was a fantastic event and we are really pleased to have come away with the win," she said.
"It's been a really enjoyable three days of competition and we want to thank all of the organisers for making it happen."
For South Tamworth, the event was one of three marquee events the club will host in 2019.
In October the club will host the state women's fours championships, followed by the NSW Champion of Club Champions tournament in December.
