Collins is one of Group 4's most energised and competitive players, which, in turn, makes him one of its most targeted.
Powered by a shot, rapid gait, a big heat and a combative nature, the stocky second-rower throws himself into defensive line - in what is one of the more stirring Group 4 sights. And he often gets in the face of rivals.
"I like to try and play at 110 per cent," he said. "I can't see it being any different this weekend."
"I don't like going out their half-hearted - that's when you get injured. I just try and give it all to my team ... A few clubs target me - I know that."
The chance to confront the undefeated reigning premiers, on their home turf, is a challenge he marks on his mental calendar long in advance.
Collins will play centre on Saturday, in a clash between the first-placed and the last-placed teams.
"I love going there [North Tamworth] to play ... It's just one that you wait for all year, I guess," he said.
Norths are coming off a 46-22 home win over second-placed Werris Creek, while Dungowan lost 34-14 to Kooty last round.

Collins was surprised that the Bears deflected the Magpies' threat so easily.
On Saturday, the Scott Blanch-led Norths will attempt to win their 39th consecutive home match.
"Like everyone's saying: if team's compete with them [Norths] for 80 minutes, they'll beat them," Collins said.
