Scott Road is the first road to be affected from June 26.
Scott Road will be closed to through traffic from Peel Street and Locks Lane with resurfacing works to be carried out - for two to three nights - between 7pm and 6am.
Detours will be in place.

This will be the second round of roadworks on Scott Road in recent times after major maintenance day work on June 12.
From June 30, roadworks will be carried out at Loaders Gully on the Western side of Nemingha.
The roadworks will go for two nights from 7pm to 6am.
Traffic control will be in place and minor delays may occur.
In other news, from June 27 to July 11 council will be replacing stormwater pipes across Peel Street, just south of Johnston Street.
The work will mean, while going north on Peel Street, there will be no right turn east into Johnston Street.
Traffic control will be in place and minor delays expected.
