Founder Sue-Ellen Wilkin said they were "very grateful" after Northwest Church collected $4430 towards goods for the farmer food pantry.
"The donation was quite a surprise ... [It will help] keep the pantry rolling and hopefully get more farmers from around the area to come in.
"I just want people to be able to walk in the door and get what they need."

Associate pastor Trish Moore said the church hoped to "keep the conversation going" on drought and its effects on people.
Taking up a collection in the church's first weekend in its new Anne Street premises was one way to do that.
"These people in our community need to not be forgotten, and need to not feel forgotten," she said.
Mrs Moore said church leaders had spent time during the past year supporting farmers and learning how to do that even better.
Efforts have included hosting family fun days at local halls; dinners out, with Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar providing the venue; and informal one-on-one talks.
She said they'd found farmers needed four Fs: feedback and information on drought support and services; fun - "a massive need [is to] clock off and go and do something fun, but they often can't afford to do it"; friendship and networks; and financial support.
"It's all about making sure that we can continue to keep farmers front-of-mind, because even if drought-breaking rain happens tomorrow, our research says that it's going to take two to three years for them to recover financially," she said.
Mrs Wilkin said the pantry - which she's described as a supermarket without the checkout - could do with some more cold-weather foods; "fancier" items such as coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits; and baking goods such as flour, sugar and dried fruit.
- The pantry is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.30am to 2.30pm at 11 Kingsford Smith Street, Taminda.
