Much like the Roos, the Roosters will head to Jubiliee Oval on Saturday stinging after a defeat at the hands of the Werris Creek Magpies.
Roos coach Shane Rampling said he was hopeful several players would return to the lineup.
"The problem we have got is building combinations and when you only get half the boys to training every week because of work, it makes it hard," Rampling told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"Hopefully we get a few players back this week and we can take in the same positive attitude we had in the first 20 minutes of the game against North Tamworth."

Rampling said his side would be looking to limit their skill errors against the Roosters.
"My message this week is the same as it has been all season," he said.
"If we can limit our mistakes I think we can give a few sides a good shake."
The day's action begins from 11am with the ladies league tag game, followed by reserve grade at 1.30pm and first grade from 3pm.
In the round's other first grade games, the Gunnedah Bulldogs will host the Werris Creek Magpies and the North Tamworth Bears will host the Narrabri Blues on Sunday.
