Juanita Wilson said pouring the money into a conditioning system for Attunga's supply was "money well-spent".
The village has dealt with the issue of hard water for a number of years which is caused by an increased presence of calcium or magnesium in the supply.

"It's a small price to pay to provide the community with a better supply," she said.
The council will install five "Magnetised, Energised and Activated" devices to treat all water pumped from the main reservoir in Attunga and conduct surveys before and after the installation.
If the trial is a success, there is a chance the program could be extended to Nundle's supply which has similar issues with hardness.
"This is a really substantial complaint and I think it's money well spent," Cr Wilson said.
