Tamworth Fire and Rescue NSW squads attended three incidents on Wednesday, with two fires breaking out within 25 minutes of each other late in the afternoon.

At 8am on Wednesday morning crews attended a minor motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Avro Street and Plain Street in Taminda according to a Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson.
Coincidentally, at 3.50pm on Wednesday afternoon the crews were called out to a diesel fire believed to be at a nearby business to where the accident occured.

"Crews arrived on the scene at 3.54pm and had the fire knocked down by 3.57pm, and completely extinguished and off the scene by 4.05pm," the spokesperson said.
Just seven minutes later at 4.12pm crews were called to a small house fire on the eastern end of Carthage Street.
"There was a small house fire well alight which four crews attended," the spokesperson said.
"We got the call at 4.12pm and had the fire under control by 4.25pm."
On Wednesday afternoon fire crews were continuing to investigate what may have caused the blaze, although did confirm that no one was inside when the fire broke out.
