Home and Away make-up artist, and former Manilla girl, Sherri Meissner is the brains behind the Ladies Day, which comes off the back of her Dollars for Dust fundraising event with the Home and Away stars in Sydney last year.
"We raised about $70,000 doing Dollars for Dust, but the Ladies Day in Tamworth isn't about fundraising," she said.

"This event is a bit of respite, and is really just to reach out, gain some trust and let the women on the land know that we are here and we care."
Held at the Tamworth Jockey Club on Saturday, the event will see hairdressers, make-up artists, yoga and meditation instructors, an essential oils experts and a range of other products and services made available for the ladies to enjoy for free.
The day will also include a buffet lunch with special guest Lynne McGranger, better known as Irene Roberts on Home and Away.
"Unfortunately this first one had limited spots, but we will be doing more and want the word to get out - we will be back."
The Ladies Day will run from 11am to 4pm.
