Tamworth Netball's representative co-ordinator Penny Clarke said said the clinic was "a great opportunity for the players".
"It's a great chance for all of our players to come along, meet an Australian player and learn correct shooting techniques," Clarke said.
"This clinic has come at the perfect time for us as our under-11 through under-17 representative teams are about to head off to play in Lakeside to play in their first game of the representative season."
Tamworth's netball ranks have seen a boost in participation numbers ahead of the 2019 season.
"This year we actually have 28 under-11 development players, up from 10 last year," Clarke said.
"We have had a huge influx at that age level and it is a great opportunity for them to gather some great experiences at the younger ages, to carry into the older years and senior competitions."
Clarke said she expected this season's Tamworth competition to be very competitive.
"With the numbers we are seeing at representative level this season, I'm confident our regular season, which begins on May 4, will be great," she said.
"All up it is shaping up to be a big season."
