It even saw an increase in participation despite the drought conditions.
It was the second straight year the committee opted to scrap the campdraft component of the event because of the current climate.

However, there were still 414 senior and junior competitors entered in the rodeo.
Money raised at the event is funnelled back into the Bendemeer community.
The funds raised will also go to organisations handling drought, flood and fire relief.
