LOCALS and visitors can now get the latest news and go-to guides for this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival delivered straight to their inbox.
The Northern Daily Leader is launching its dedicated online daily newsletter for the festival on Thursday, January 17, ensuring readers and visitors have everything they need to know for the 10-day event, right at their fingertips.
The Leader’s acting editor, Breanna Chillingworth, said the festival newsletter would be delivered in addition to the newspaper’s regular daily email that gives readers access to the biggest local stories of the day and breaking news.
“We know festival revellers are on the go every day, and this newsletter allows them to get the news, coverage of big events, as well as stories and photos from our talented team of journalists and photographers,” she said.
“It will hit inboxes from six every morning throughout the festival, allowing readers to catch up on the day and night that was, and plan ahead for the day to come.
“Whether it’s our top five picks for each day; catch-ups with the biggest names in the music industry; what you need to know about the weather, getting around the festival or how businesses are faring, we’ve got what you need to know in one spot.
“We have a dedicated team of reporters on the ground, roving the festival hot spots and the CBD to get the latest festival news, happenings and recommendations through to Monday, January 28.”
